The earth science lab was a lab where we creating some of the rocks and learned how the Earths crust was made and what it was made of. For this lab Andrew put water in a couple of beakers and had different types of elements. He mixed different elements in each beaker and they all gave off a different reaction and what they looked like. This was an open lab but me and Darian worked together. There were a couple different groups also.
Once he put in the element it started rising to the top and made these cool looking crystals on the bottom. This was a fun lab because we got to recreate how the earths crust was made and it was cool to see what was going on in the other beakers. I didn't know what would happen when we put the mixture in but I got desirable results and I preformed well in this lab. If I were to do this lab again, I would try a different element to see what kind of results I would get. If I were to do another lab like this I would work with Darain because we work really well together. Overall I was a fun lab and me and Darian were both shocked by the results. Learning how the earths crust was made, and learning how to make it yourself was diffidently a takeaway.
